How to Find a Job

For UPEI students and alumni.

Registration is required and space is limited. A Google Meet link will be sent to all registrants the morning of the session.

This workshop is an online session to help UPEI students and alumni learn job search strategies. This workshop will discuss strategies for finding employment opportunities based on your goals.

2021 UPEI Career Fair goes virtual on March 10

The UPEI Experiential Education Department and UPEI Career Services are hosting the annual Career Fair for students and alumni on Wednesday, March 10. The virtual fair will look a bit different this year, but it will still be packed with opportunities from 25 employers.

The fair will be hosted online and will consist of videos from local employers who are recruiting UPEI students and alumni. The videos and accompanying digital program will allow job-seeking students and alumni to connect with employers to learn about and apply for various job opportunities.

UPEI bovine mastitis research supported by New Frontiers of Research Fund

A research project by Dr. Marya Ahmed, an assistant professor of chemistry at the University of Prince Edward Island, is being supported by the Government of Canada’s New Frontiers of Research Fund (NFRF). Dr. Ahmed is exploring methods to use short strings of amino acids, known as peptides, as a replacement to traditional treatments of mastitis infections in dairy cows. The NFRF is contributing $250,000 to this project.
