2025 Pride Parade
One of the signature events of Pride Fest ‘25 is the PEI Pride Parade, when individuals, families, friend groups, and organizations join a colourful line-up to walk through the streets of Charlottetown. The 31st annual PEI Pride Parade will take place on Saturday, July 26—UPEI, the UPEI Student Union, UPEI Alumni Association, and the AVC Pride Club are Panther Proud to participate!

AGE-WELL Summer Institute pitch competition on July 11 open to public
Graduate students and postdoctoral fellows from across Canada and beyond are attending the AGE-WELL Summer Institute, “Co-Creating Possibilities: Supportive Homes & Communities,” an intensive, one-week learning experience, at UPEI from July 7 to 11.

What brought you to UPEI? Why did you choose to study (undergraduate and current graduate program) here?
I was born and raised in Klang, a city in Selangor, Malaysia. Malaysia is known for its vibrant multicultural environment, and I'm proud to come from a place where people from all walks of life come together to share food, stories, and laughter as part of everyday life.
UPEI business students recommend transportation and parking improvements on campus
Four student teams from the McDougall Faculty of Business presented options and strategies for transportation and parking improvements on campus to UPEI’s Facilities Management and Transportation and Parking Advisory Committee, and representatives from the City of Charlottetown and the provincial government recently at Schurman Market Square, Don and Marion McDougall Hall, UPEI.

UPEI faculty member launches new PEI weather and climate almanac on June 26
A new book by Don Jardine, a sessional instructor with the UPEI School of Climate Change and Adaptation, will be launched on Thursday, June 26, at 7 pm, on the second floor of the Confederation Court Mall, 134 Kent Street, Charlottetown.
