Board meetings generally include sessions that are open to the public. Certain agenda items, including but not limited to human resources discussions, may require the Board to go into a closed session. For logistical purposes, members of the public who wish to attend the open session of a meeting are asked to contact board@upei.ca one week prior to the meeting.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to scramble your way through a presentation you have no control over? It’s more fun than you think, and you can experience it yourself (or just come to watch!) on Tuesday, October 1, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Catherine Callbeck Centre for Entrepreneurship in the Robertson Library (201)! No pre-registration required!

MiniPitch is a low-intensity, high-yield opportunity for UPEI students to try out doing a three-minute elevator pitch on a business idea you’ve come up with in front of a panel of judges. After your pitch, the judges will get three minutes to ask questions and will end spending two minutes giving you immediate constructive feedback on your pitch. It's a great way to get some early experience delivering an elevator pitch ahead of competitions hosted by the Catherine Callbeck Centre for Entrepreneurship later in the school year.
