Kings County Construction will be installing a new catch basin to improve storm water drainage between Kelley Memorial Building and Don and Marion McDougall Hall. The work will begin on Wednesday, September 23 and will take approximately three days to complete. The walkway between these two buildings will be closed during the construction.
While the contractors have been instructed that the work be executed with the least possible interference or disturbance to the campus community, a certain amount of disruption is inevitable. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

AVC’s annual Open House takes place on Saturday, September 26, from 10 am to 2 pm, with lots to see and do for people of all ages--the popular parade of dog breeds; clicker training with dogs; the painted cow and horse; farm animals; and much more. Children can bring their favourite stuffed toys for a check-up and treatment at the Teddy Bear Clinic—no appointments necessary! And they can have their faces painted, get a balloon animal, and learn how to gown up for surgery. Donations of canned pet food or toys for the PEI Humane Society will be gratefully accepted. Bring your family and friends to this great outreach event!

The University of Prince Edward Island is a scent-free campus.
Eliminating the use of scented personal care products is a matter of courtesy to those whom we share our indoor work and study environments. Some individuals have serious health affects when exposed to scented products so we ask that members of the campus community refrain from using all scented products such as perfumes, colognes, lotions, air fresheners, hair products, etc.
For more information and to learn how to better deal with scent sensitive situations, please visit our UPEI Policies web page, Scent-Free Initiative.
