EFAP Seminar: Creating Balance in Your Life
In today’s environment of competing demands, relentless commitments, and a consistent feeling of shortage of time, balance often does not come easily or naturally. A conscious effort, deep commitment, and clear priorities are required to create and protect one’s sense of balance. A signature Health and Fitness Week event, this session will help participants explore how their current choices impact their work-life satisfaction and help them to develop strategies to achieve a greater balance in life.

At this Powerlifting Session led by personal trainer Kris Lutwick, you will learn the basic technique of the squat, bench press and deadlift. The session will review the basic technique of each lift.

SoundEscapes - Meditation
A signature Health and Fitness Week event, this Sound Meditation with Trevor Grant's "SoundEscapes" will feature the sounds of crystal bowls, wooden flutes, shamanic drumming and more. Journey through sound to get more in touch with subtle vibration, leaving you relaxed, refreshed and with a deeper connection to yourself. Active listening in this way improves concentration and promotes a deeper connection and awareness of your surroundings and how your environment can affect you. No experience necessary, come soak up the good vibrations!

UPEI Men's and Women's Basketball
As Health and Fitness Week draws to a close, come out dressed in your green and cheer on our Panther basketball teams for the chance to win major prizes! The Women's team take the court at 6 pm while the Men's team are on at 8 pm, both against the Memorial Seahawks.
Staff have the chance to win a FREE gym membership. Students have the chance to win a FREE course. Yoga Flow Clinic
In this signature Health and Fitness Week event and led by yoga instructor Rebecca Gass, you will learn how to pair your breath with movement in ways to release stress and decompress tension. The clinic will also breakdown yoga poses of the flow sequence.
