UPEI "Yarn and Soul" Knitting and Crochet
Although it regularly takes place throughout the school year, Health and Fitness Week 2017 is promoting Yarn and Soul Knitting and Crochet as a fun and healthy community activity!
Join the UPEI Yarn and Soul group for their weekly meeting, and enjoy the relaxing movements of knitting and crocheting on Tuesday, November 21 from 4:30 - 6:00 pm in the Campus Life Lounge, Student Affairs, W.A. Murphy Student Centre. Beginners welcome to come and learn, and supplies are provided. Already know how? Bring your project along and work on it while socializing, or come for some ideas for a new project!

PUMP-UP for Basketball!: Health and Fitness Week 2017
Join fellow members of the UPEI campus and get PUMPED UP! for the UPEI Women’s and Men’s Basketball games versus Acadia! Come and get your face painted, make some posters, and jam out to some music before heading to the gym to cheer on our UPEI Panthers! All supplies will be provided.

Dog Therapy Session: Health and Fitness Week 2017
Back by popular demand! St. John’s Ambulance Therapy Dog Program brings joy and comfort to those who need it. Enjoy a friendly visit with our furry friends to help de-stress and receive some unconditional love. This is event is open to all UPEI students, staff and faculty, whether or not you live in residence.

Information Session: Faculty of Business EMBA
UPEI’s Faculty of Business will host an information session for those interested in its Executive MBA program. The event will be Wednesday, November 22 at 5:00 pm in the Gallery of The Guild in Charlottetown.
UPEI’s EMBA program offers a high-quality learning experience for working business professionals. The program is designed for those working in, or aspiring to work, in a management or leadership position. Classes are offered bi-weekly on Fridays and Saturdays with the option to complete the program in 20 months.

Interested in joining a Rotaract Club?
The Rotary Club of Charlottetown invites UPEI students interested in starting Rotaract Club (youth aged 18-30) to come hear Martin Ruben speak about having helped initiate a Rotaract Club in the Cayman Islands.
Mr. Ruben would like to help UPEI students understand what is involved in starting a club here, and how this is a fantastic opportunity for students to make local connections, find mentors and contribute to the community. This information event is open to all UPEI students and recent graduates!

Lunch-and-Learn: Accommodate or Redesign
With more than 10% of students at UPEI registering with Accessibility Services, as well as UPEI's duty to accommodate these students, Accessibility Services is inviting you to participate in a session on creating academic accommodations or thinking about how to redesign course materials to remove accessibility barriers. This session will also include the use of design personas to think about how students may experience your course.
