3D Printing Workshop

Starting November 7, 2017, the Robertson Library will have a 3D printer available for public use. There will be three 3D printing workshops for an overview of the 3D printing process. Please note the change in dates. Workshops will all be held in Robertson Library Room 265 (LINC) on Wedneday, November 1, 2017 from 3:00 - 4:00 pm and Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. Sweets and Swag: Development and Alumni Engagement Open House

The Department of Development and Alumni Engagement and the UPEI Alumni Association invite you to attend their Sweets and Swag Open House. The event will take place at 618 University Avenue (directly beside Paul’s Flowers) on Monday, December 4 – drop in between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. Enjoy music, yummy sweets, delicious hot chocolate with mini marshmallows, and pick up some free UPEI swag! Need gifts for your friends or maybe just need to treat yourself this holiday season? Midnight Madness: UPEI Health and Fitness Week

Announcing a first for UPEI Health and Fitness Week, Midnight Madness will take place on Friday, November 24 from 10:00 pm to 1:00 am in the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre. Perhaps you're a night owl or just looking to have fun, join us for Midnight Madness! We will have activities to suit everyone, including dodgeball, gym games, board games, movie, jam session, and more. Bring your friends, stay up past your bedtime, and have some fun - this event is free!

Yoga and Sound: UPEI Health and Fitness Week

Yoga and Sound: Elements is part of UPEI Health and Fitness Week 2017! A unique experience with yoga, music, and storytelling. Samantha Sambrooke will lead you on a yoga journey through the elements of water, earth, air, fire and ether to the sounds of crystal singing bowls, drums and flutes played by Trevor Grant of Soundescapes. This is suitable for all levels and the cost is $10 per person. No refunds. Pre-registration is required. Please visit the Panther Central desk with payment to register. Yoga mats provided.  This event will take place on Friday, November 24 from 10:15 pm - 12:15 am, in Fitness Studio #1 at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre. Zen Zone: Health and Fitness Week

As part of the UPEI Health and Fitness Week, the Zen Zone will be created at the Credit Union Day Lounge in the W.A. Murphy Student Centre. There is no health without mental health and lounge has been designated as the Zen Zone for Monday from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. Kick-Off Coffee House & Keynote: Heath and Fitness Week

As part of the UPEI Health and Fitness Week, a Kick-Off Coffee House & Keynote will be hosted from 10:00 am-11:00 am in The PIT, Robertson Library. Nutrition is a major component to good health, as part of Health and Fitness Week 2017 there are three events planned to improve your knowledge on nutrition and the best choices you can make! The Intro to Cooking Healthy Session is open to UPEI students, staff and faculty - you do not need a meal plan to attend. Join us and Executive Chef Alan Paul of Chartwells for a cooking session - learn how to cook simple, healthy meals and have fun while doing it! Pre-registration is required.
