Dana Sanderson, Chief Information Officer at the University of Prince Edward Island, was a finalist this fall for the Information Technology Association of Canada (ITAC) CIO of the Year.

Dr. Michelle Evason, an associate professor of small animal internal medicine at AVC, has co-authored a new textbook, Infectious Diseases of the Dog and Cat: A Color Handbook, with Dr. Scott Weese, an infectious disease researcher and a professor in the Department of Pathobiology, Ontario Veterinary College.

The Atlantic Veterinary College at UPEI is seeking nominations for its 2019 Atlantic Award of Excellence in Veterinary Medicine and Animal Care. This annual award recognizes veterinarians who have made significant contributions to animal health and welfare in Atlantic Canada.

The Atlantic Veterinary College at UPEI is saddened by the loss of a founding faculty member, Dr. Bob Curtis, who passed away on December 8.

The UPEI Concert Choir, under the direction of Sung Ha Shin-Bouey, will perform The Messiah-Part I (plus the Hallelujah Chorus), in collaboration with the Atlantic String Machine and the UPEI Voice Majors as soloists.
