UPEI and the Department of Athletics and Recreation are proud of our facilities. Our goals are to provide you with quality programming, state-of-the-art exercise equipment, and a clean and inviting atmosphere. To reach our goals, we ask for your cooperation! Our turnstile systems (located in the main lobby and fitness centre) are not only our primary point of entry, but also our system for tracking membership usage. When you swipe your card, you provide us with valuable information—information that enables us to work with other UPEI departments to create the best health and wellness experience for you. So what does this mean? Beginning March 25, 2013, swiping your card for entry is mandatory. We will help you by directing you to the turnstile with signs, and who knows? Your “swipe” may be the very one chosen in our weekly draws for some UPEI prizes!
