Due to flooding in the Chaplaincy Centre, Karma Yoga on Tuesdays at noon is cancelled Tuesday, October 1.

The Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering invites the campus community to this week's Graduate research seminar by Dr. Andrew Trivett, entitled "Fieldetect: the story of creating a spinout bio-technology business at UPEI".

This event is Wednesday, October 2 at noon in FSDE room 212.

The Human Resources Department, in cooperation with the Project Beacon and ITSS teams, is pleased to announce that a new Employee Toolbox has been created on myUPEI.  The Employee Toolbox will contain many employee related documents that you currently access through Campus Login.  The Employee Toolbox will be located on the front page of myUPEI directly below the Campus Notice section.

Effective September 30, 2019, the following items will be accessible through the Employee Toolbox on myUPEI.              

  • Pension Statements
  • T4s
  • Pay Cycle Calendars

Effective September 30, 2019, the Sessional Roster and Sessional Seniority Lists will be moved to the Faculty Toolbox on myUPEI.

If you have any questions or have difficulty accessing your employee related documents through MyUPEI, please contact Human Resources at hr@upei.ca .

Murphy Student Centre. Reception to follow. All are welcome! Read the UPEI statement

Flags at UPEI will be flown at half-mast on Sunday, September 29 to commemorate Police and Peace Officers' National Memorial Day. In 1998, the Government of Canada officially proclaimed the last Sunday of September as a national memorial day to give Canadians an opportunity to formally express appreciation for the dedication of police and peace officers, and to remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in keeping communities safe.

CBC Mainstreet with host Matt Rainnie will be broadcasting live from the W.A. Murphy Student Centre this Friday, September 27th, from 4 until 6 p.m. There will be lots of live guests celebrating UPEI's 50th anniversary, along with music from The Rude Mechanicals and some great prize draws.

The APAP is a federal recruitment program that offers recent graduates an unparalleled development opportunity in the federal public service. The APAP develops high potential individuals for policy roles in the Government of Canada by offering recent master's-level graduates the opportunity to establish a foundation of knowledge and experience in federal public administration.

Children can bring their most loved stuffed toys for a check-up and treatment at the Teddy Bear Clinic. And they can have their faces painted and choose their favourite balloon animal.   

Organized and run by AVC students, AVC Open House is one of the largest, most successful open houses in Atlantic Canada. The event is one of many activities taking place during Homecoming Weekend (upei.ca/alumni/homecoming), celebrating UPEI’s 50th Anniversary, September 25-28.
