The UPEI Cairo Campus has introduced a new course, Indigenous Teachings, that aims to expand students' knowledge about a crucial part of Canadian history relating to Indigenous and non-Indigenous relations to present day. David Varis, UPEI assistant professor in the Faculty of Indigenous Knowledge, Education, Research and Applied Studies (IKERAS) was the first to teach the course to students at the UPEI Cairo Campus. The Presidential Search Committee launched an online survey today as part of the consultation phase of the 12-month search process that will select a new President and Vice-Chancellor for the University of Prince Edward Island.
