UPEI Career and Summer Job Fair

The UPEI Career and Summer Job Fair will take place on Thursday, March 3 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in the Schurman Market Square, Don and Marion McDougall Hall and is free for students. All students are encouraged to attend with updated resumes. Theology on Tap, "How Hobbits Save the World"

Please join us at the Pourhouse (Great George Street) for our first "Theology on Tap" of 2016 presented by the SDU Institute for Christianity and Culture. Brenton Dickieson, UPEI Religious Studies, will speak on "How Hobbits Save the World" -- a captivating topic that will examine Christian motifs in the fiction of J.R.R. Tolkien.  Doors open at 6:30 pm with the event starting at 7 pm. We look forward to an enjoyable evening of discussion and fellowship!

North of 49 Free Movie Screening & Pizza Party- Cast No Shadow

As part of the Atlantic Film Festival, UPEI will be screening Cast No Shadow on Thursday January 21st 2016. Tickets are free, but are required. You can download and print off your ticket, or show it on your phone to gain access. Branded a thief and a liar, Jude imagines the hardships that surround him are the workings of an evil troll that lives in a cave across the harbour. When Jude’s father is sent to prison, Jude takes refuge with a recluse named Alfreda who nurtures his imagination, but warns of using it as a means of escape. Campus Life Family Friendly Event (Students, Staff, Faculty)

Students, staff, and faculty with young children are invited to bring their kids to the Family Friendly Event happening in the Campus Life Lounge, in Student Affairs (W.A. Murphy Student Centre, above the Bookstore) on Saturday January 23rd from 12:00 - 3:00 pm. We will have snacks, and will be watching Happy Feet, and doing winter crafts including making snow out of shaving cream! Indigenous Student Mixer

UPEI and Holland College are hosting an Indigenous Student Mixer for First Nations (Status & non-Status), Inuit and Metis students. The mixer, titled "Let's Taco 'bout Indigenous Education", will allow for Indigenous students to network and put forward ideas on how to best support them while attending post secondary. There will be free Indian tacos, a dream catcher making workshop and a chance to win free swag.
