UPEI Women’s Hockey recruits Lexie Murphy
UPEI Women’s Hockey has recruited Lexie Murphy to join the Panthers roster for the 2019–2020 season. Murphy is a forward from Kensington, PEI who played this past season for the Ridley College Tigers in St. Catharines, Ontario and represented PEI at the most recent Canada Games.
“Lexie brings a strong skill set to our program,” said coach Bruce Donaldson. “We have had some great players come out of the Ridley program, so were very excited to see Lexie joining ours. She has great size, plays aggressively, and should transition into the U SPORTS level nicely.”
