UPEI Chamber Singers perform in national video production of Handel’s Messiah
The UPEI Chamber Singers are featured in a video produced by Against the Grain Theatre, which includes singers from all provinces and territories of Canada with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.
UPEI sets up Mission Control centre to support students over the holidays
The University of Prince Edward Island has established a three-tier system to deliver support, services, and access to entertainment and activities to students who are either self-isolating on PEI or not able travel home for the holiday break.
Recent grad hopes to "inspire internationalism"
Krystin Matters, who graduated from UPEI this spring with a major in Religious Studies and a minor in Asian Studies, has accepted a position as an assistant English language teacher with the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) program. The position begins in the spring of 2021.

Research led by AVC faculty featured in Dairy Research Blog
A pan-Canadian research team, led by Drs. Javier Sanchez and Luke Heider, AVC’s Department of Health Management, is developing a surveillance program to measure antimicrobial use (AMU) and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) on Canadian dairy farms, and the effectiveness of antimicrobial stewardship protocols and programs. The team has developed a platform called the Canadian Dairy Network of Antimicrobial Stewardship and Resistance (CaDNetASR) to collect data and monitor AMU and AMR. This new platform is a first for the dairy sector.
