Earlier this year, the sport governing bodies for Canadian universities and colleges, U SPORTS and the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association, suspended the varsity competition schedules for fall sports such as soccer due to COVID-19.

Meet Roshan McGuinness, second-year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine student
UPEI's students are making an impact on campus, here in Canada, and around the world!
Why did you choose veterinary medicine?
"I chose veterinary medicine because I have always loved animals—it sounds cliché, but being able to work with them everyday, and knowing that clients trust me for advice on their animals’ needs is a dream job!"
Meet Sydney Wheatley, third-year UPEI Sustainable Design Engineering student
UPEI's students are making an impact on campus, here in Canada, and around the world!
Why did you choose UPEI?
"UPEI was my first choice because of my interest in Sustainable Design Engineering. UPEI was particularly intriguing because of how the client projects are integrated directly into the program, as opposed to doing a separate co-operative education term. And, the brand new, state-of-the-art facilities seemed like the perfect place for me to start my post-secondary education."
New: Masks mandatory in UPEI campus buildings
The UPEI Health, Safety, and Environment department issued new guidance for mask-wearing on September 3 in advance of the beginning of the 2020 Fall Academic Semester.
