The UPEI community was saddened to hear about the passing of SDU alumnus William “Billy” Mulligan, who died on June 25 at the age of 81 in Saint John, NB, after suffering heart complications.

Dr. Greg Keefe, Dean of Veterinary Medicine at the Atlantic Veterinary College at UPEI, has been extended for a three-year term effective July 1, 2021.

The UPEI Faculty Association celebrated the achievements of faculty members at an online event held in May of this year. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the UPEIFA was not able to hold its annual faculty recognition events in-person for the 2020–2021 and 2019–2020 academic years.
