Campus Notices
The next UPEI blood donor clinic will be at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre
on January 17, 11 am-3 pm.
This is an important clinic because of the decline in donors during the
'flu and cold" season. Your attendance is really needed.
Appointments are recommended and may be made by calling 1-888-236-6283.
Walk-ins are most welcome.

Atlantic Veterinary College is now accepting applications for its national award-winning Dr. Tim Ogilvie AVC Vet Camp and the AVC Summer Academy.
AVC Vet Camp offers an educational adventure like no other! Students (grades 7-9 and grades 10-12) learn about anatomy, wildlife medicine, and animal behaviour. They get to visit our large- and small-animal hospitals, including our intensive care unit, and take a field trip. They also learn about keeping pets and farm animals healthy. Students will also take part in lively discussions on animal-related social and public-health issues that face veterinarians today, and learn all about the educational requirements to become a veterinarian. Please visit upei.ca/avc/vetcamp - http://avc.upei.ca/vetcamp - for more information.
AVC's Summer Academy is a five-day residential program during which university students interact with the College's faculty, staff, and students through a variety of instructional approaches including classroom lectures, field trips, rotations, and hands-on sessions, all of which serve to expose students to the profession of veterinary medicine. The Academy is a valuable experience for those interested in pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. More information on the Academy can be found at upei.ca/avc/summeracademy - http://avc.upei.ca/summeracademy .
