The University of Prince Edward Island Department of Music invites school bands to visit its campus to showcase their musicianship and explore means of moving their playing forward. Students and conductors will be introduced to new ideas to advance their individual and ensemble performance. The facilitator is Dr. Karem J. Simon, among Atlantic Canada’s foremost wind band conductors and music educators. In addition to a full band workshop of up to ninety minutes in duration, directors may wish to customize their day by selecting one or more from the following options:

• sectional clinics with UPEI faculty
• professional audio recording session
• campus tour
• conducting lesson and/or professional consultation (directors only)
