This year’s keynote speaker is distinguished philosopher, public intellectual, novelist, and poet, Professor Richard Kearney.

Prof. Kearney will give a talk entitled “Are We Losing Our Touch?”. Prof. Kearney holds the Charles B. Seelig Chair of Philosophy at Boston College and has previously served as a Visiting Professor at University of College Dublin, the University of Paris (Sorbonne), the Australian Catholic University, and the University of Nice.

He is the author of more than 24 books in philosophy and literature, including three novels and a volume of poetry, and he currently serves as the International Director of the Guestbook Project — Hosting the Stranger: Between Hostility and Hospitality.
