UPEI’s Quality Assurance policies and procedures

Monitoring by Maritimes Provincial Higher Education Commissions (MPHEC) occurs on a cyclical basis, every 10 years. The process ensures that universities’ quality assurance policies and procedures align with established regional guidelines.

First cycle QA monitoring process: the first cycle of UPEI’s QAM process occurred in 2009.

Second cycle QA monitoring process: the second cycle of QAM process is typically built on the first cycle. UPEI’s 2nd cycle occurred in 2023, and the report was submitted in 2024.
