As Russian troops advance and Ukraine fights off attacks, the world watches the war unfolding in Eastern Europe. On Monday, March 7, at 3:00 pm (AT), political scientist and strategic analyst Gustavo Calvo, UDELAR University of Uruguay, will examine the latest developments with the talk, "Beyond the Dnieper River: the Boundaries of Empires."  As well, Dr. Yuliya Rashcupkina, UPEI Department of Political Science, will give a talk titled "Russia's war in Ukraine: the roots of the conflict and implications for the future of collective security."
