PEI Community Reads is hosting a virtual event with Desmond Cole, author of The Skin We're In: A Year of Black Resistance and Power, on Wednesday, March 2,  at 7 pm. Yolanda Hood, of Robertson Library and an organizer of PEI Community Reads, and Tamara Steele, executive director of the Black Cultural Society of PEI, will moderate the event. 

This event is free but registration is required at https://bit.ly/32I8Sos. Copies of The Skin We're In: A Year of Black Resistance and Power is available for sale at The Bookmark, Charlottetown’s locally owned, independent bookshop, at a 15% discount. You can also borrow a copy from the Robertson Library or the PEI Public Library.
