Today is World Hepatitis Day.  Did you know that 44% of people living with Hepatitis C are unaware of their infection?  You may be at risk: 

- if you have ever shared drug-use equipment,

- if you have ever shared personal care items such as razors or toothbrushes,

- if you have ever had a tattoo or piercing done where non-sterile equipment was used,

 - if you have ever lived in a region where hepatitis C is common,

 - if you were exposed to blood during sexual activity or

 - if you received a blood transfusion before 1992.
