Notice from ITSS – ESET Endpoint Security Upgrade

IT Systems & Services would like to inform the campus about upcoming changes to the ESET Endpoint Security software installed on UPEI owned & managed devices. If you have ESET Endpoint Security installed on your computer, the software will be automatically upgraded.

During the upgrade process, you may notice warning messages appear as a result (for example: “Windows does not detect an anti-virus present” or “Security Alert”).

If you notice ESET security alert messages, please ensure to restart your computer at your earliest convenience.
