The next deadline for submitting Biosafety applications including new applications, renewals and/or amendments is Friday April 24, 2020. These applications will be reviewed at the May 2020 meeting.

Please ensure that you use the new electronic forms available at http://www.upei.ca/research/forms. 

Submit the following:

• one e-copy of the application form and all associated documents to reb@upei.ca

Applications received after this deadline will be reviewed at the June 2020 meeting.

Please note the following exception to the IBC application submission deadline: protocols that involve COVID-19 related research topics will be considered as meeting the criteria for expedited review. If you believe that your research falls into this category then please contact Dr. Rhoda Speare (Biosafety Officer) (rspeare@upei.ca) or Joy Knight (mknight@upei.ca) as soon as possible.
