Interested to know about some of the best practices, lessons learned and findings from recent studies on promoting gender equality and the Sustainable Development Goals in Canada and around the world? Join the Atlantic Council for International Cooperation to celebrate the 30th International Development Week at a Panel Discussion, Together Towards Gender Equality: Working Locally and Globally, at 4:00 pm in the AVC Atrium. Speakers include Jane Ledwell, Executive Director, PEI Advisory Council on the Status of Women; Dr. Judy Clark; Elder-in-Residence, Dr. Jennifer Taylor, Professor, Department of Applied Human Sciences; Dr. Jean Mitchell, Chair, Department of Sociology and Anthropology; Dr. Janis MacLellan-Peters, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Nursing; and Karla Bernard, MLA for Charlottetown-Victoria Park with (Co-Chairs) Dr. Susan Hartley, Global Peace Advocate, and Ann Wheatley, Cooper Institute).
