The UPEI Student Union, in collaboration with different departments on campus, have come together to commemorate World Suicide Day on the 10th of September from 1:00 to 1:30 pm.
The commemoration will take place outside Cass Building, beside the hand-carved bench UPEI dedicated to the Mi’kmaq of Epekwitk. We will gather to pay tribute to the lives that have been affected. Tessa Rogers, Student Union Vice President Student Life will MC the event and will share the spot with three different speakers from across campus: a representative from Jack.org, Treena Smith from Student Affairs, and Grace Gibson from the International Student Office.
