Domestic hot water and heating shutdown in some UPEI buildings

PEI Energy Systems has notified Facilities Management of a leak in the district heating lines near Cass Building.
To repair the issue, a shutdown of the heating systems for Cass Building, Duffy Science Centre, Kelley Memorial Building, and the Chaplaincy Centre will be required.
This shutdown will also shutdown the domestic hot water system for Duffy Science Centre. Cold water will not be affected.
The shutdown is scheduled for Thursday, September 19 beginning at 7:00 am, with the repair expected to take approximately 12 hours to complete.
