Dr. Ronald J. Baker, President Emeritus, took up his duties as the University of Prince Edward Island's first president in the summer of 1969. Upon retiring as president in 1978, Dr. Baker continued duties as a professor at UPEI until 1991. Dr. Baker will host a meet-and-greet reception to mark the occasion of UPEI's fiftieth anniversary and looks forward to welcoming former colleagues and students!
