Meet our current Mawi'omi Centre student lead, Emma Pickering!

Emma is a Mi'kmaq woman from Epekwitk and a member of Lennox Island. She is passionate about advocating for Indigenous rights and supporting Indigenous students here on campus. Emma is working hard this year to offer academic supports as well as inclusive events and activities to help Indigenous students connect with one another and feel welcome supported here at UPEI.
