The Registrar's Office is seeking applications from qualified individuals to provide operational support. The Registrar’s Office provides services to current and former students, as well as to faculty and staff of the University. As part of the Student Experience Hub, the Registrar’s Office team is committed to being a partner in supporting student success and providing service excellence. The incumbent will work with the Registrar’s Office team to ensure a high level of service within a busy environment with tight deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support all operational process and services within registration, scheduling, records, admissions, and document management units
  • Support student facing services and resources within myUPEI self service
  • Develop informational capacity of student facing resources
  • Review and update process documentation
  • Support units to develop, maintain, and process outgoing system generated student communications and correspondence using the Colleague communications management module
  • Carry out testing, optimization and implementation of new and/or updated processes in Colleague, Recruit, Infosilem, Zendesk, etc.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and respect for diversity and inclusion toward students, faculty, staff and community members at all times
  • Adhere to confidentiality requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary education in an administrative assistant program with two-year related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Experience with Colleague, Recruit, and myUPEI
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving ability
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to establish priorities, multi-task and work under pressure to deliver exceptional service
  • Attention to detail and system savvy
