Dr. Sundeep Singh from the Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering is seeking a student research assistant to work on a project related to computational modeling and simulation of pulsed-field ablation for treating cardiac arrhythmias. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Develop a coupled multiphysics model for simulating pulsed-field ablation in cardiac tissue
  • Actively participate in analyzing and interpreting data
  • Assist in drafting journal/conference articles

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Must be an undergraduate engineering student currently enrolled in UPEI
  • Successful completion of Thermo Fluids I, II, and III courses with exceptional grades
  • Prior experience in using COMSOL, ANSYS, SolidWorks, Python, or MATLAB would be advantageous
  • Must have good professional and technical skills
  • Must have a keen interest in interdisciplinary research
  • Prior experience in writing scientific papers and/or presentations at scientific conferences is highly valued
