Graduate Research Assistant - Faculty of Education
$20.20 per hour plus 4% vacation pay
May 2, 2022 – November 25, 2022
Faculty member Dr. Rachelle Gauthier (Faculty of Education) is in search of one research assistant to work on a French research project which will focus on the francisation program that exists within the French first language school in Prince Edward Island.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct and organize a literature search
- Assist with data collection
- Conduct transcription of interviews and focus group discussions
- Assist with preliminary qualitative data analysis
- Assist in writing an article for publication
- Assist with writing abstracts for conferences
- Assist in the development of visual supports for dissemination of results
- Other tasks related to the research, as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Enrolled in a graduate program at UPEI
- Excellent language skills in both French and English
- Experience and ease in working with people
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent writing/editing skills
- Knowledge of APA
- Experience in development of PowerPoint presentations, and/or other presentation software
- Ability to work independently
