Student Assistant - Human Resources Department
$16.00 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay
ASAP to April 25, 2025
The Department of Human Resources at UPEI is seeking applications for a Student Assistant to support the process of digitizing our filing system. This role will involve working collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced, deadline focused office environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in reviewing and condensing personnel files
• Assist with scanning and organizing digital files
• Attend Digitization Committee meetings when possible and stay apprised of the ongoing digitization process
• Lend support as needed to team members throughout the process of packing and storing physical files and documents
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be a current UPEI Student
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team and meet project deadlines
• Previous experience working with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets would be an asset
Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and the Procedures manual.
