Part Time Permanent Position - Clinical Nursing Instructor - Faculty of Nursing
The Faculty of Nursing, University of Prince Edward Island, is now accepting applications for a permanent part-time Clinical Nursing Instructor position. The instructor will provide instruction in the Learning Resource Centre and direct clinical supervision to undergraduate students in medical/surgical units at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital or Prince County Hospital. This appointment is subject to final budgetary approval.
Qualifications:
BScN or BN, current registration or eligibility for registration with College of Registered Nurses of Prince Edward Island (CRNPEI) and at least 3 years of full-time clinical experience. Expertise in medical/surgical nursing required. Previous experience in teaching and clinical supervision of students would be an asset.
August 25 to April 25, Annually
Fall: Learning Resource Centre Instruction
3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)
22.5 hours per week
Winter: NURS 2230 Adult Nursing: Transitions in Health
3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
22.5 hours per week
