Permanent Clinical Nursing Instructor - Faculty of Nursing
The Faculty of Nursing, University of Prince Edward Island, is now accepting applications for a permanent full-time Clinical Nursing Instructor position. The instructor will provide direct clinical supervision to undergraduate students in community nursing placements across the province. Direct clinical supervision of students may be required in the Faculty of Nursing Learning Resource Centre and in primary health care settings including long-term care. This appointment is subject to final budgetary approval.
Qualifications:
BScN or BN, current registration or eligibility for registration with College of Registered Nurses of Prince Edward Island (CRNPEI) and at least 3 years of full-time clinical experience. Expertise in community nursing is required. Previous experience with populations across the lifespan and teaching and clinical supervision of students would be an asset.
Start Date: January 1, 2021
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: $43.21 per hour in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the University of Prince Edward Island Board of Governors and The University of Prince Edward Island Faculty Association Bargaining Unit #1
