Graduate Research Assistant - Department of Sociology and Anthropology - Faculty of Arts
$27.00 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay, as per PSAC Local 86000

A graduate student is required on a short-term basis for assistance in the preparation of SSHRC Grants which must be submitted on February 1, 2025. The Insight Development Grant will require graduate level student assistance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contribute directly to undertaking research
- Assist with the writing of the research of several sections of the proposal in tandem with the lead researcher
- Involved in other application-related tasks as the applications develop
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a current UPEI graduate student in good standing
- Strong research skills
- Ability to create annotated bibliographies and contribute to drafting a literature review for a research proposal
This position is covered by a Collective Agreement between the Public Service Alliance of Canada and the University of Prince Edward Island. Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students.
