The Faculty of Education is seeking two (2) graduate research assistants with strong background in mathematics or STEM education and quantitative statistics. One position will work 7.5 hours per week and the second position will work 4 hours per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reviewing literature and applying for ethics
  • Developing Survey
  • Data collection and analysis
  • Assisting with paper for publication

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a UPEI Graduate student in good standing, with preference given to Master of Education and PhD Education students
  •  Ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • Experience in survey design
  • Experience in quantitative data analysis
  • Background in mathematics or STEM education
  • Excellent writing skills

This position is covered by a Collective Agreement between the Public Service Alliance of Canada and the University of Prince Edward Island. Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students.
