Role and Responsibilities

This unit is responsible for administering the day-to-day activities between the university and its corporate banker. It offers centralized banking functions and provides departments with support in carrying out their responsibilities. This unit monitors all deposits and disbursement; administers University merchant accounts and bank reconciliations.

The unit also provides support and guidance for users of the university’s financial system.  It maintains general ledger information and postings; processes internal requisitions; and ensures signing authority and accesses are monitored and updated as required.
