UPEI hosts Charlottetown launch of "Jimmie MacAulay: The Man Who Got Things Done"
UPEI is pleased to host the Charlottetown launch of the book, Jimmie MacAulay: The Man Who Got Things Done, on Sunday, November 3, from 2:00–4:00 pm at Alumni Hall, 618 University Avenue. Written by John Cameron and Lou Daley, former teachers at Morell Regional High School where Jim was principal for 24 years, the book covers the life of someone committed to enhancing the Island’s education system and growing community, specifically his community of St. Peter’s Bay. Indeed, UPEI recognized Jim’s contributions by awarding him an honorary degree in 2014.
Those who have pre-paid can pick up their copies at the event; copies will also be for sale. However, if you wish to guarantee your copy before November 2, you can e-transfer your payment ($35) to jjcameron@eastlink.ca.
