UPEI Alumni and Friends--Vancouver
Let’s take a walk through history on the wild side of Vancouver! Join us on Saturday, March 16, for a private Forbidden Vancouver walking tour of the Gastown neighbourhood, and hear tales of mobsters and bootlegging that might even rival some of PEI’s best-known rum-running folk tales. (Remember the Dark Ride at Rainbow Valley?)
Our private tour will begin outside the Monaco Café at 356 Water Street when the steam clock strikes 6:00 pm. We’ll wind our way through the historic streets and back alleys of Gastown as dusk settles and the fabled street lanterns shine bright.

Meeting point: Outside Monaco Café at 356 Water St at the intersection of Cordova and Water Streets.
-
