Carols and Cocoa: Afternoon of Service with the Alzheimer Society of PEI
If you are a UPEI student who loves to help others and spread some holiday cheer, we have an excellent opportunity for you! You can volunteer to assist with the Carols and Cocoa Social, a festive event for persons living with dementia and caregivers. As a volunteer, you will have the chance to help with various tasks, such as setting up and cleaning up, decorating cookies, and serving hot drinks to the seniors. You will also get to enjoy live entertainment by local musicians and singers Ann Campbell and Molly White.
The event will take place on December 14 from 1:30 to 3:30 pm at the Beaconsfield Carriage House, 2 Kent Street, Charlottetown. Volunteers can arrive around 12:45-1:00 pm to help get things set up and oriented.
This is a wonderful way to give back to the community, make new friends, and have fun. Space is limited, so don’t miss this chance to be part of this amazing event! 😊
If you have any questions, please get in touch with Community and Industry Outreach Coordinator Diego Figueroa Medina at diegofm@upei.ca
Registration is required on our Eventbrite page. Register by Wednesday, December 13, at noon. Only UPEI students and alumni are eligible to attend.
