Public Presentation by Chris McGrath, candidate for Associate Vice-President, Students and Registrar
The search committee for the Associate Vice-President, Students and Registrar announces upcoming presentations by the finalist candidates. Since the search began in May, the committee has undertaken a comprehensive search and selected three finalists for a series of stakeholder meetings on campus. Frances Billingsley presents on October 10 and Shawna Garrett on October 13.
Chris McGrath is the Principal and Founder of the Koru Coaching + Education Group, an organization dedicated to cultivating leadership capacity for social change, particularly for Indigenization and EDI within organizations. He held prior roles as Vice-President, Students at George Brown College; Dean of Students at Seneca College; Associate Vice-President, Student Experience and Registrar at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College; and Assistant Dean, Student Affairs at the University of Toronto, Mississauga. Chris holds an EdD from Western University, an MEd from the University of Vermont, and a BA from the University of Waterloo.
All are welcome to attend. For any who are unable to attend, the presentations will be recorded and available afterward for viewing from a secure site. Paper copies of each candidate’s CV will be available for viewing in the Office of the Vice-President, Academic and Research, Kelley 205. Following each presentation, you are invited to provide feedback on the candidate’s suitability for the role to vpar@upei.ca. All feedback will be considered by the Search Committee in its deliberations.
