Gain volunteer experience in our community! In partnership with the UPEI Experiential Education Department, the Mount Continuing Care Community will host a group of student volunteers to help with a Valentine's Day-themed Sip and Paint where you can sip mocktails, enjoy treats, and paint with residents. This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to your community, meet other students, and gain some new skills.

The Mount is a residential care facility, where residents live and are supported in their daily lives. Many of the residents are seniors. As part of living at The Mount, residents can participate in a variety of fun events and activities, such as this one where they will sip mocktails and paint with students. By participating, you will get to help with the event and interact with residents. You will brighten their day while gaining some experience volunteering with a local organization.

The Mount is located close to UPEI at 141 Mount Edward Road. There is a trail that connects the UPEI Campus and the Mount. For this event, we will meet on campus and walk as a group to the Mount.

All those participating are asked to meet at the Career Studio, Room 209 Dalton Hall, at 9:30 am. Please be on time as we will be walking over to the Mount and will not wait for latecomers.
