AVC Small Animal Medicine Tenure-Track Candidate - Seminars
The Department of Companion Animals at the Atlantic Veterinary College will be interviewing two candidates for the open tenure-track faculty position in Small Animal Internal Medicine. Our second candidate, Dr. Sheri Ross, will be interviewing (virtually) the end of this week, Wednesday, August 18 and Thursday, August 19, 2021.
Dr. Ross received her DVM degree in 1996 from the Atlantic Veterinary College, UPEI. She then completed an internship at the University of Minnesota where she remained to complete a three-year internal medicine residency as well as a PhD in nephrology and urology. Dr. Ross then completed a fellowship in renal medicine and hemodialysis at the University of California Veterinary Medical Center—San Diego where she is currently employed in a clinical faculty position. She is board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.
As part of the interview process, Dr. Ross has been asked to present two seminars; one 50-minutes and suitable for 3rd year DVM students and the other, 30-minutes and based on her research interests.
