Chris Huggan, UPEI’s director of Athletics and Recreation, is pleased to announce Matt Gamblin has signed on to be the next head coach of the UPEI Women’s Basketball team.

Dr. Alice Crook, coordinator of the Sir James Dunn Animal Welfare Centre at the Atlantic Veterinary College, has received international recognition for her work in animal welfare from the World Veterinary Association (WVA) and Ceva Santé Animale, a multinational veterinary pharmaceutical company. UPEI’s annual Presidential Recognition Awards of Merit and 25-Year Service Awards were presented to faculty and staff at a ceremony on May 16, 2018.
