Call for Nominations for the Atlantic Veterinary College’s 2025 Atlantic Award of Excellence

The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI) is excited to announce that nominations are open for the 2025 Atlantic Award of Excellence in Veterinary Medicine and Animal Care.

Since its establishment in 2005, this prestigious annual award has celebrated veterinarians who have made remarkable contributions to animal health and welfare in Atlantic Canada. The 2025 award will be presented during the Atlantic Provinces Veterinary Conference, taking place in Halifax, Nova Scotia, from April 25–27.

Eligible nominees must be practicing or retired veterinarians residing in the Atlantic provinces, and they do not need to have any affiliation with AVC. All completed nominations must be submitted by February 18, 2025, at 11:45 p.m.
