You’re Invited: Campus Town Halls hosted by President Rodgers

The following message was emailed to UPEI students, faculty, and staff on June 27, 2024.

Dear Students, Staff and Faculty,

Thank you all for the continuing warm welcome to UPEI and to PEI. It has been very exciting meeting everyone.

I want to hear more ideas, suggestions, and questions as I continue to really get to know the UPEI community, and as we begin to build our vision and strategic plan for the next five years.

You are all invited to attend one of two Campus Town Halls next week. I, along with the senior executive team, will be there to listen to your ideas and respond to questions. (There will be more chances to engage over the summer and throughout the fall semester.)

• Wednesday, July 3, 1:00–2:30 pm
  Performing Arts Centre Amphitheatre (PAC 121 S)
   
• Thursday, July 4, 10:00 am–11:30 am
  Performing Arts Centre Amphitheatre (PAC 121 S)

Both town halls are for all members of the campus community—students, staff, and faculty—and are being held at different times on different days as options to attend.

If you are unable to attend in person, you are welcome to join virtually—a further message will be sent on Tuesday, July 2 with the links.

If you are unable to participate in the scheduled town halls, there will be more opportunities to engage in discussion about our future in the coming weeks and months. You are always welcome to send thoughts and suggestions to president@upei.ca at any time.
