UPEI welcomes Scott Gosse as new manager of Security Services
The University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI) is pleased to welcome Scott Gosse as the new manager of Security Services. Gosse will oversee a variety of operations that serve to protect and provide for the ongoing safety of the people, property, and information resources of the University community.
Gosse holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from UPEI (2001) and trained as a Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) officer at the RCMP Depot in Saskatchewan (1998).
He comes to UPEI with extensive experience in crime prevention, management, community relations, security infrastructure and technology, and administration. “Scott is known for his positive, patient, and helpful approach in all areas of his work and will be a wonderful fit for this managerial role,” said Tara Judson, Interim Vice-President Administration and Finance at UPEI. “His extensive professional experience in the security and policing sector, leadership skills, education, and training are very well suited to this position and the campus environment.
