UPEI Panthers this Week (October 2–8, 2023)

The UPEI Panther hockey, rugby and cross country teams are looking forward to a full week of events at home and away.

Wednesday, October 4

AT HOME:
7:00 pm: UPEI Women’s Hockey Panthers home opener against Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues

AWAY:
7:00 pm: UPEI Men’s Hockey Panthers against Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus in Moncton, New Brunswick

Friday, October 6

AWAY:
7:00 pm: UPEI Women’s Hockey Panthers against the St. Thomas Tommies in Fredericton, New Brunswick

7:00 pm: UPEI Women’s Rugby Panthers take on the Acadia University Axewomen in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. The Panthers won their first matchup against this team 27-15 on September 9.

Saturday, October 7

AT HOME:
7:00 pm: UPEI Men’s Hockey Panthers host the University of New Brunswick Reds for the season home opener. A banner will also be raised in honour of the late William “Billy” MacMillan, Saint Dunstan’s University alumnus, former UPEI Men’s Hockey coach, and UPEI Sports Hall of Fame inductee.

AWAY:
12:00 and 1:00 pm: UPEI Women’s and Men’s Cross Country teams compete in the University of New Brunswick Invitational.
