UPEI Panthers this Week (September 11–17, 2023)
***Please note that due to forecasted weather, the UPEI at Moncton women’s and men’s soccer games originally scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 16 as indicated below will now be played Friday, Sept. 15, at 5 pm and 7:15 pm ADT.***
The UPEI Panther teams are looking forward to a full weekend of events at home and away Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Friday, September 15
AT HOME
Admission is free, and everyone is welcome to check out Panther Basketball inter-squad games as they prepare for the 2023–24 season!
5:00 pm: UPEI Women’s Basketball Green & White inter-squad game.
7:00 pm: UPEI Men’s Basketball Green & White inter-squad game.
Please note that the previously scheduled exhibition game hosted by the UPEI Men’s Hockey Panthers versus the University of New Brunswick Reds at 7:00 pm has been cancelled.
AWAY
7:00 pm: The UPEI Women’s Hockey Panthers play their first exhibition game of the season against the Mount Allison University Mounties in Sackville, New Brunswick. Tickets can be purchased at the gate.
Saturday, September 16
AT HOME
7:00 pm: The UPEI Women’s Hockey Panthers host the Mount Allison University Mounties for an at-home exhibition game.
AWAY
1:00 pm: The UPEI Women’s Soccer Panthers (1-1-1) play the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (0-2-2) in Moncton, New Brunswick. This is a rematch of last Friday’s game that ended in a 1-1 draw.
2:00 pm: The UPEI Women’s Rugby Panthers (1-0) play the Saint Mary’s University Huskies (0-1) in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Last season, UPEI defeated Saint Mary’s 66-5 and 86-0.
3:15 pm: The UPEI Men’s Soccer Panthers (1-0-2) play Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus (1-2-1) in Moncton, New Brunswick. This is a rematch of last Friday’s game that ended in a 2-2 draw.
7:00 pm: The UPEI Men’s Hockey Panthers play the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus in an exhibition game.
Sunday, September 17
AWAY
1:00 pm: The UPEI Women’s Soccer Panthers take on the University of New Brunswick Reds in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
3:15 pm: The UPEI Men’s Soccer Panthers take on the University of New Brunswick Reds in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
