Presidential Search Committee holds Community Forum, August 22

The following notice was also distributed to students, faculty, and staff by email on August 17.
The Presidential Search Committee recently launched the consultation phase of the 12-month search process that will select a new President and Vice-Chancellor for the University of Prince Edward Island.
During this important phase, the Search Committee would like to hear from members of the UPEI community about what their visions are for the next President. One option is to complete the confidential, anonymous online survey that is now available until September 8, 2023, at the following link, https://eu.surveymonkey.com/r/NXHSKRH.

The event will be hosted by Shannon MacDonald, Chair of the UPEI Board of Governors and Presidential Search Committee. Representatives from the search firm Perrett Laver will be in attendance to take notes. The Search Committee will value your answers to questions such as:
- From your perspective, what are the key opportunities, challenges and priorities for UPEI and for the new President when they come into the role?
- Given the advice/opinions/insights you have provided above, please share your view on the key qualities and characteristics you wish to see in the next President.
- Do you have any recommendations of potential candidates that you would like to be considered?
